What a captivating and distinctive scent. Who doesn’t like it? That is why we appreciate lemon balm as a versatile herb and medicinal plant.
Marito’s wonderfully green – that’s clear. But there’s also a great deal going on inside: all manner of carefully selected Swiss herbs, processed with painstaking attention to detail. The blend is perfect: Marito has a stimulating lemon-fresh aroma. And the bitter-sweetness on the palate exhibits depth. Marito is refreshingly different and completely natural.
Swiss herbs, naturally
A host of different herbs, all grown, nurtured, tended and carefully selected in different regions of Switzerland.
Here are the main four.
Choosing the herbs
All of our herbs are grown in Switzerland, some we cultivate ourselves in our very own herb garden, others we take from various regions around Switzerland.
The dried herbs are soaked during a process called maceration. This extracts the flavours from the herbs.
The fresh herbs are distilled. This extraordinary and unique process of combining distillation and maceration is one of our secrets.
Once all components are brought together, the finished Marito is carefully filtered. This prevents the liqueur from becoming cloudy.
Finally, the Marito is bottled in our bottling plant and given its delightful label.
The fresh aperitif made from Swiss herbs is ready to drink.
